Really Bad range. Need help

Hi, After changing my xmod evo chassis about a year ago and not playing with it, I recently decided to charge it up to test run it. But for some reason, the range is really bad. It runs perfect when I have it within 3 feet, but anything past that, it will start to stutter and eventually stop due to loss of range. Anyone know what the problem is?

I've tried changing the crystals.

Are there any inductors for xmods evo?.
How do I bridge them?

Re: Really Bad range. Need help

Then you shorted out the inductors, try bridging across them for *better* range. Or replace them.

* By better, I mean improved distance compared to stock.

I don't think that would do anything. Did the antenna ever touch the battery wires?

I think I messed it up by accidentally letting my remote touch the antenna....Does anyone know how to fix this?. Would the range repair kit for Gen 1 work?
